Oh yeah, we do some newer material too. but the vibe is definitely throwback.

Whether you want some easy listening background music or some lively rock and soul that will get your guests up on the dance floor (or a little of both), this band will deliver a show made to support your event goals.

These are mature and seasoned musicians, each with decades of experience in local and regional bands, both on stage and in the studio.

Their mix of masterful guitars and keyboards, tasteful vocals and got-to-get-up-and-dance percussion will keep your audience engaged and entertained. Band presence, attire, repertoire and volume will always be appropriate to your event.

A note from the band’s founder;

I have played in bands since (what was then called) junior high school. In the 1970's, I played in a band that recorded a single that made Billboard Magazine’s top 20. I have performed everyplace from empty bars to sold out auditoriums and everything in between. I have been around the block.
In the last decade or so, I have seen a trend in bands - including some I have worked with: They accept bookings from any kind of venue and audience, and for just about any amount of pay. One weekend, they are in a bar where the band splits $300. The next, they are playing an event in a convention center or hotel ballroom for $3,000. Same band, same material. Either the bar is getting an amazing value, or the event host is getting screwed. Unfortunately, it is usually the latter.
My goal with Rhythmic Rewind Band was to create a band that performs, behaves and dresses like a band that clearly belongs at your corporate event, gala, private party or festival. I wanted to create a high quality, high value show that always makes your guests feel like they are lucky to be part of your event, and that makes you feel like you are the one getting an amazing value.

Meet The Players In The Rhythmic Rewind Band

Robert Anthony

Keyboards and Vocals

Robert played and performed professionally in the Philadelphia area as a young musician, later recording original music at that city’s renowned Sigma Sound Studios. Before moving to the Midwest, he traveled the east coast, appearing at venues throughout the northeastern U.S., and as far north as Ontario, Canada. With decades of experience in pop, classic rock, rhythm and blues, soul and more, Robert performs with state-of-the-art keyboards that provide an orchestra of sounds, giving Rhythmic Rewind Band a full, professional sound you won’t soon forget.

Stu Huntley

Multi Percussion

Stu puts the rhythm in Rhythmic Rewind Band. Over the years, he has played a diversity of musical genres with a variety of ensembles, from small combo to symphony orchestra. His engaging style gives our music a dimension you just do not experience with other bands. Whether you realize it or not, it is Stu’s enticing rhythms and nuanced embellishments that draw you into our music and make it impossible to not move your feet!

Tom Box

Guitars and Vocal

Another stage and studio veteran, Tom has delighted music audiences since the early 70’s, playing festivals, private parties, events and clubs. He has performed and recorded with numerous bands including Benson, Cardiac Party and the Box Brothers. That breadth of experience has produced a versatile guitarist/vocalist who adds a refreshing element to songs in any genre. But he is still rooted in early rock and soul, making him a key ingredient in Rhythmic Rewind Band’s sound.

Ben Shinrock

Guitars and Vocals

Ben is the newest…and youngest member of the band. But his musical experience has been amazing. He has been playing for over 20 years, including 10 years of international touring experience. On stage, he is a crowd-pleasing dynamo who helps this band stand out from others you've seen. He brings amazing lead guitar chops and vocal skills, not to mention youth and energy to the band.

Larry Mersereau

Drums

A music industry veteran, Larry has played in local and regional bands for over 50 years. He has enjoyed success throughout the Midwest, both performing live and recording in a range of genres. Larry has also been active in the meetings and events industry for some 30 years. He has been a featured speaker at international conventions for MPI, ASAE and IAEE. He was inducted into the Iowa Rock ‘N Roll Hall Of Fame in 2015.
